Golden Hour Flow

There’s something special about slowing down at the end of the day—and last week, we had the sweetest evening doing exactly that at Hummingbird Estate.

Our Golden Hour Flow, led by yoga instructor Mallory Montgomery, brought together a wonderful group of women for an evening of movement, connection, and a little time to simply unwind. With the pavilion doors open, the evening breeze coming through, and the sun beginning to set across the property, our pavilion turned out to be the perfect place to roll out our mats and reset.

A Flow Under the Pavilion

As golden hour settled over Hummingbird, we gathered under the pavilion for a beautiful yoga flow led by our instructor. The open-air setting gave us the best of both worlds—the comfort of being covered while still feeling completely connected to the outdoors.

The pavilion was filled with women moving, stretching, breathing, and taking a little time for themselves. And as the class continued, the warm evening light poured in through the open sides. It was simple, peaceful, and exactly what we hoped this event would feel like.

It’s All in the Little Details

Of course, we couldn’t have a Hummingbird event without a few special touches.

Guests were welcomed with little Hummingbird Estate goodies, sweet treats, and drinks to enjoy while visiting after the flow. We kept everything relaxed and unfussy so the evening felt less like an “event” and more like spending a beautiful evening with friends.

One of our favorite things about hosting gatherings like this is watching the pavilion become something completely different each time. It may host a wedding reception one weekend, a yoga class the next, and something entirely new after that.

Until Next Time…

To everyone who joined us for our first Golden Hour Flow, thank you. You made the evening even more special than we imagined.

With October around the corner, we’re already dreaming up our next cozy afternoon together. 🍂

Here’s to slowing down, moving our bodies, gathering with good people, and soaking up a little more of the beauty around us.

See you next time at Hummingbird Estate. 🤍

A special thanks to Ashley Rickman Photography for capturing photos!
