A Colorful Beginning: Gabrielle & Jake's Wedding at Hummingbird Estate

Some wedding days hold a little extra magic, and Gabrielle and Jake's October wedding was certainly one of them.
Not only was their celebration filled with color, personality, laughter, and love, but it also marked a very special milestone for us at Hummingbird Estate. Gabrielle and Jake were the very first couple to say "I do" in our brand-new chapel!
And we couldn't have imagined a more wonderful way to begin this new chapter.
The First "I Do" in Our New Chapel
After months of dreaming, planning, and bringing our chapel to life, October 10 was a day we had been looking forward to for a very long time.
The white shiplap walls, warm wood floors, and delicate gold lighting created a timeless backdrop for their ceremony. But the sweetest part was the two of them exchanging vows with the biggest smiles on their faces.
There's something especially meaningful about all the love stories that will unfold inside these walls, and Gabrielle and Jake will forever hold the distinction of being the very first.
A Wedding Bursting with Color and Personality
One of the things we loved most about this wedding was how perfectly it reflected the couple.
Gabrielle wasn't afraid of color, and we were absolutely here for it!
Her bridesmaids wore a beautiful mix of pinks, yellows, oranges, blues, and greens. The mismatched dresses came together effortlessly, creating a look that was playful, fresh, and full of personality.
Jake and his groomsmen complemented the colorful bridal party in rich green suits with floral ties, adding just the right touch of fun.
And Gabrielle looked stunning in her wedding gown, with its delicate detailing and romantic silhouette.
From the wedding party portraits in front of the Estate's grand main house to the photos across the grounds, every image was filled with color and joy.
Wildflowers, Whimsical Details, and a Beautiful Reception
The colorful celebration continued into the pavilion, where Gabrielle and Jake created a reception that felt welcoming, cheerful, and effortlessly beautiful.
Round tables dressed in crisp white linens were accented with colorful napkins, delicate floral arrangements, and sweet little details.
The flowers had a freshly gathered, wildflower-inspired feel, with pops of pink, yellow, orange, and green bringing the entire space to life.
Against the pavilion's bright white interior and gold chandeliers, the colorful details truly shined.
It was the perfect reminder that weddings don't have to follow a traditional color palette to be elegant. Sometimes, a little unexpected color makes everything even more beautiful.
A Reception Straight Out of the Movies
As beautiful as the ceremony and reception details were, the real magic of this wedding was in the celebration itself.
Gabrielle changed into a sparkling romper dress, and the evening turned into one big celebration with their favorite people.
There was dancing, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
But one of our absolute favorites was when the celebration turned into a scene straight out of My Best Friend's Wedding.
The party broke into a joyful rendition of "I Say a Little Prayer," creating one of those spontaneous moments that makes a wedding truly memorable.
It was fun, a little unexpected, and absolutely perfect.
From sweet dances to playful dips on the dance floor, Gabrielle and Jake knew how to celebrate their love in a way that felt completely authentic to them.
And we loved every minute of it.
A Day We'll Always Remember
Every wedding at Hummingbird Estate is special to us, but Gabrielle and Jake's will always hold a unique place in our hearts.
They helped us celebrate the beginning of something we've dreamed about for so long—our very first wedding in the chapel.
But beyond that milestone, their day was a beautiful reminder of what weddings are really about.
Not perfectly matching dresses or following every tradition, but gathering your favorite people, celebrating your love, and creating memories that will make you smile for years to come.
